In July 2015 a High Court cerebral palsy case settled at €1.9 million for a three-year-old girl who suffered cerebral palsy at birth. The HSE admitted liability in the case and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital has apologised to the family for deficits of care relating to the three year old's birth.
